From a pattern to an interpretation

The night Muhammad Ali shocked the world.

In 1964, 22-year-old Cassius Clay—soon to be known as Muhammad Ali—entered the ring an eight-to-one underdog. Six rounds later, he was heavyweight champion.

Follow the timing

That night, Jupiter stood almost exactly 120 degrees from the rising point in his birth chart. The gap was less than one-thirtieth of a degree.

But the timing didn’t begin that night.

An interpretation branches.
Its origins still matter.

Sources: Ali’s recorded birth time gives us a chart to examine against the events of his life—including the night he won the title.
Method: Jupiter ruled the longer planetary period of Ali’s life. Mars, in his house of honors, ruled the shorter period within it. His annual profection—the chart’s year-by-year cycle—also brought Jupiter into focus.
Judgment: Jupiter marked the longer period, the year, and the sky that night. Mars brought the house of honors into the picture. I read their convergence as a testimony to victory and public recognition.
