I practice that demanding art. I establish which planets hold the greatest power, weigh the testimonies that agree or clash, and trace their timing through the years.

The Personal Daemon

An exploration of the personal guardian in ancient philosophy and astrology.

Iamblichus described a guardian whose bond with the soul precedes birth: a presence that accompanies it into the body and takes part in the direction of its life.

What might such a guardian seek for us? How might its nature speak through our gifts, our deepest inclinations, or the work we feel compelled to do?

Astrologers sought its signature in the nativity. In this consultation, I investigate the planetary power traditionally associated with your personal daemon, explain its significance, and explore what it may illuminate about these questions in your life.

A reading of two birth charts and the relationship between them.

Two people may love each other deeply and still live under very different stars.

I examine each birth chart in its own right before considering them together. Where do your strengths meet? Where do your needs pull in different directions? What sustains the bond, and what places it under strain?

We consider these questions in the context of the relationship you actually live, with the histories, temperaments, and circumstances each of you brings to it.

Astrological Second Opinion

A focused examination of a prediction or interpretation you’ve already received.

An astrological judgment stands or falls by its evidence.

Bring me a prediction, a disputed interpretation, or a conclusion you want examined. I return to the chart, scrutinize the methods used, and weigh the testimony for myself.

I explain what I find persuasive, what remains uncertain, and where I reach a different judgment.

Horary Astrology

A reading for a specific question about a matter at hand.

Will the agreement be signed? Will the missing thing be found? What is likely to become of a matter already in motion?

Horary begins with the question. A chart is cast for the moment of inquiry and examined for testimony about the matter and its likely course.

Tell me your question and the circumstances behind it. I’ll confirm whether horary suits the inquiry. The written judgment sets out my conclusion and the reasoning behind it.
